Specific Qualifications of our Firm:

American Business Network, Inc. was organized, in-part, to meet the compliance, planning and other consulting services demands related to the enormous transfer of business and personal wealth between the Babyboomers and Generation Xers. Also, the Company was established in recognition of the needs of today's entrepreneurs who demand creative, practical, hands-on and responsive business and financial planning services.

Statistics indicate that approximately $1.5 trillion of personal assets will be transferred from one generation to the next in the U.S. over the next ten years. Without proper planning and execution of transactions, nearly 1/3rd of these assets will be paid (in the form of estate, gift and inheritance taxes) to Federal, State and Local Governments.

Further, experts report that approximately 1/2 of today's 6 million U.S. small and medium sized businesses will be transferred from one generation to the next over the next ten years. It is also estimated that nearly 1.5 million new businesses will be started here during the next ten years. Without proper guidance and planning, nearly 1.8 million of these entities will fail. We walk our clients through their transactions to help ensure that they don't become a statistic.

As a result of our extensive background, we are quite familiar with issues that are important to privately-owned businesses. Accordingly, we provide a unique understanding of the environment and needs of the business owner and entrepreneur. We find that with our entrepreneurial clients, the business is "in their blood". The business is a prime focus and virtually the sole financial resource of the owner and his or her family. It is this environment that makes our expertise in closely-held Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships and personal taxation particularly relevant.

Our firm's two shareholders were formerly employed by Big 6 accounting firms for 15 years and we have owned and operated a CPA practice for the past several years. This Company is an out-growth of our CPA practice; to house non-traditional CPA services in order to narrow the scope of both practices.
